How to Register Your Student at Cedar Unified Schools

Students entering kindergarten must be five (5) years old prior to September 1. Students entering first grade must be six (6) years old before September 1. All students entering Cedar Unified School District for the first time must have the following documentation:

  • Online Registration For Existing Families - Click Here
  • For Families New to the District / Online Registration: Click Here
  • Original Birth Certificate (or certified copy)
  • Shot/Immunization Record
  • Certificate of Indian Blood

Parents may come to the school office to register, or they may pick up packets that are placed at several businesses and government offices in the community. Students who are transferring from another school need to bring their withdrawal slip.

Kindergarten

Kindergarten is an all day program. Students must be five (5) years old by September 1 to enter the program. Parents of children without complete immunization records may pick up registration materials but will not be able to officially register their child until all immunizations are complete.

Immunizations Required

Arizona law (ARS 15:343) requires proof of immunizations to be enrolled in school. Make sure your child has received all of the necessary immunizations. Please visit the Arizona Department of Health Services website for more information.
