Parent Involvement

Parent involvement is so important for a child’s academic success and overall well-being in school. Involved parents can help create a positive learning environment that can lead to better classroom behavior and a sense of accountability in children. This can also help students learn self-discipline. Parent involvement can help build strong relationships between parents and children. Parents are the first teacher in a child’s life. They are building a foundation that will last a lifetime. How they model is how a child will go. They have a significant impact on their children.  A positive parenting can enhance children’s cognitive development and language skills. Children’s cognitive development is a foundation for competence, self-esteem, and success in adult health, wealth, and well-being. So, get involved!
